Last October 17, 2008 we went to CHALK campus event at Plaza Villarosa. But before that we ate at Yellow Cab so that our stomachs would not screech for food when we were in the event.

At the event proper, we had our shots and one of which is this group hug.

It was a cool night for us really, we had a great time from the morning til the evening. We had fun at every gathering we had, in Yellow Cab, in HSBC, in AKIC trip, and lastly here at CHALK event.

Fiat Eco Drive

As I woke up this morning, I checked my twitter account for micro-blogging updates. One thing that got my attention was this news blog by c|net entitled “Fiat revs up new free fuel tool” I found it interesting.

Fiat’s new optional Eco Drive software will let its drivers know, the company announced earlier this month at the 2008 Paris Motor Show.

All Fiat drivers need is a USB drive and Microsoft’s Blue&Me system.

Blue&Me is an onboard computer system currently offered in some Fiats and Alfa Romeos, and possibly soon, in Ford cars, as well. It enables drivers to listen to their MP3 player, make calls on their cell phone, and have text messages read aloud to them. The system includes a USB port, which Fiat has announced could be the key to a 15 percent reduction in a car’s CO2 emissions.

You just need to download free Eco Drive software for your PC and plug-in any USB drive. Drivers then plug their USB thumb drive into their Blue&Me system and it will collect data about your car.

Program will measure car’s fuel consumption, speed, style in braking, and other things like shifting gears. Plugging it back your USB drive back to your computer, software does an analysis of how you did on your last drive or so. Bad habits and some more.
